Not only do we hope to help the environment through our shopping habits but we hope to connect people to nature, the outdoors and to each other. If you are an individual looking to meet new people or a group who are useless at organising yourselves we will be doing a series of hikes, beach cleans, workshops and social events.
If you would like to know when these are happening please sign up to our newsletter below.
Croagh Patrick Community Hike - FREE
Sunday, April 16th, 10 AM
Join us on Sunday April 16th at 10am as we take on Croagh Patrick. We are really excited for this one, our biggest challenge yet.
Starting at 10am in the carpark, the reek normally takes about 3.5 hours to complete but please allow more time as we will be taking it at a pretty easy pace, with lots of breaks to keep the group together and enjoy the scenery. Maybe 4.5hrs to be safe, there is no rush :)
We will be car pooling from Castlebar so if you can offer a lift to someone please let us know.
What to bring:
Comfortable shoes / hiking boots
Lunch / snacks
Change for the carpark parking
Tissues (from experience)
Walking sticks (optional)
We will be going for a beer and some food after, so once you register we will be in touch nearer the time to confirm if you would like to join us.

Would you love to start growing your own fruit and vegetables but don't know where to start? Are you already growing and would love to chat with other enthusiasts to share your knowledge and learn from each other.
Mayo Organic Group meet up on the second Monday of each month (normally in Balla community centre) to discuss all things plants and how to grow sustainably. They will be holding their next event at The Habit Store, Castlebar.
This is a free meet up. Come along and get inspired and start planning for your garden 2023.
Please let us know via social media / email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are coming so we can alert you of any changes.
