Community Walk - Croaghmoyle Booster Station
Sunday 18th August, 11am

The Croaghmoyle Booster Station walk is located just outside of Castlebar. It's a lovely 9km trail that takes around 3 hours to complete. There is an incline as we approach the halfway point, so make sure you're ready for a bit of a workout! There will be a break at the top for snacks and photos, and then the return half is mostly downhill. We have done this walk before, but it was so popular that we decided to do it again.

Please be aware that anyone joining us is responsible for their own safety and wellbeing when out on our community walks. These events are free and not guided nor led by a professional leader. It is a lovely opportunity for people to come together and explore somewhere new. Please research the area and assess your own ability before joining us.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

What to bring:

  • Comfortable shoes

  • Drinking water

  • Waterproof jacket

  • Flask of tea/coffee & enough snacks for a 3-hour hike

Please register so we can update you as needed. If you need a lift, or can offer a carpool, please let Kevin know. See you there!
